The from scratch technique consists of playing live for 9 minutes starting from an empty screen. Sometimes this allows to visualize the high or low abstraction level of a languages (try to play from scratch using, for example, Tidal, SuperCollider or Csound), or to make the tools (classes, functions, data structures, etc.) that allow the livecoder to carry out the different musical tasks within the performance transparent.

At the beginning of the session we will decide the slots. If you want to play, be there on time so you can sign up.

Rules:

• You should start from a black screen.
• You have 9 minutes to play.
• Everyone must clap no matter the result (unless you’re playing).
